This peaceful resort surrounded by nature is located deep down in the heart of the ancient and uncontaminated land of Sabina, near the old town of Farfa. Santo Pietro Farmhouse is a magical place where you can relax by having beautiful walks among olive trees, watching your children play under the shadows of the plants and enjoying fine open-air meals.
The small village of Santo Pietro was built on Roman foundations during the Middle Age by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Farfa; it has been finely restored in order to guarantee absolute relax and comfort to its guests, with its bright single and double rooms and its apartments with terraces and balconies, where you may enjoy the sun and the unspoiled air of the Sabina countryside.
Your stay in the Santo Pietro Farmhouse will not only be about diving into nature, rediscovering its smells and colors and experiencing its rhythms in total harmony with it, but also about trying a unique culinary experience. Vegetables, meats, wines and oil are wisely used by our chefs for the preparation of the best and most typical dishes of the Sabina gastronomy.
We have thoroughly studied our menu for you, in order to effectively guide you on a gastronomical path, rediscovering the typical tastes and scents of this ever-so generous land. Indeed, all of our dishes originate from Sabina's cooking tradition, according to the traditional cookbook based on the authentic flavours of our land. Our specialities always follow the seasons of the year, only using those products offered to us by nature itself.
Resting in our Farmhouse you will live the magic of going back in time, sleeping in rooms fitted with ancient furniture and decorated with accessories creating a warm and familiar atmosphere. Immersed in the quietness of the countryside, from the rooms's balconies you shall enjoy a unique view, observing the wide olive tree fields which, with their silver-like green, graciously cover the breathtaking hills of Sabina
Agriturismo Santo Pietro's ancient history is deeply rooted in a rich territory, which has an old tradition of olive oil production.
Most of the lands surrounding the farmhouse are devoted to olive trees plantation, from which we extract our precious extra-virgin olive oil.
